This is something I’ve been meaning to do for some time now: a web hacking screencast. I’m going to try making this a weekly feature and for this week I’ve gone through the process of registering a domain name through Dreamhost. Pretty basic stuff, but probably a good starting point for someone wanting to hack on the web.

    A 51 MB file?! May I know how long it is?

    It’s 4 minutes 32 seconds at 640 x 420 resolution. I probably could have gotten better results with the H.264 codec but I think at least some people in my program are sticking to old versions of QuickTime because they’re more compatible with Processing.

    Very nice.. I like how it opens, nice effect, you can almost “see” your voice ;-)

    I would suggest posting this to the Dreamhost wiki but I might worry about your phone number being visible. Do things like that worry you?
